Melissa Finlay

Centre Manager
Kia Ora, My Name is Melissa. I have been teaching for 11 years and have a variety of expertise in management. I have my Masters of Education and I am always eager to continually excel my pedagogical practice. I am very passionate about building strong reciprocal relationships with tamariki and whānau as I believe that making connections is important for children’s learning.

Angela Koppert

Kia Ora, My name is Ange and I live in North Canterbury with my husband and two daughters. I was born and raised in Invercargill but in 2016 my family and I decided to relocate to begin a new journey. I started my teaching career in 2011 and completed my Bachelor in Teaching (Early Childhood) in 2014. As each day passes, my passion and love for providing quality education to a community of learners grows.

Nathalie Krajicek

Kia Ora, my name is Nathalie and I come from a small village in England. After completing my Bachelors degree in Psychology, I came to New Zealand for an adventure. Eight years later I have completed my Graduate diploma in Early Childhood Education. I believe in providing high quality respectful and nurturing education to all children in my care.

Pauline Spencer

Kia Ora My name is Pauline and I grew up in Blenheim. I did my Early Childhood Bachelor and started teaching in 2015. I enjoy building and creating and going on adventures, exploring nature and the local tracks and events. I love playing the guitar and singing waiata with the children. These are some of the things I am very passionate about.

Vanessa Mahaki

Kia Ora, My name is Vanessa. I live in North Canterbury and was born and raised in Central Otago. I have been teaching for 17 years and I have a Diploma in Early Childhood.
I live with my husband and 3 boys, and we like to spend lots of time outdoors, camping, fishing and travelling. I love working with tamariki and providing warm, nurturing, respectful environment.

Nicola Watson

Registered Teacher
Kia Ora, my name is Nicola and I live in Kaiapoi with my husband and 3 children. I love living an active lifestyle, which includes playing netball, going to the gym and spending time outdoors with the family. I am passionate about young children’s learning and feel privileged to work alongside children everyday as they discover how the world around them works. I am lucky to be a part of the very important learning journey of young children.

Georgie Earle

Teacher in Training
Kia Ora my name is Georgie. I live in North Canterbury with my partner and two children. I have completed a National Nanny certificate and am currently studying towards a Bachelor in Early childhood Education. I’m very excited to be a part of the Educare family providing high quality education as well as being mentored as I continue my journey to becoming fully qualified.
Georgie is currently on maternity leave.

William McDonald

Kia ora. My name is William, I was born and raised in North Canterbury and I currently live with my parents and sister. I’ve been really interested in Early Childhood Education from a young age, especially having younger cousins whom I spent a lot of time with.

Amanda Flanagan

Kia ora, my name is Amanda. I’m a mum of 3 boys. I am born and raised in Christchurch, and have lived in Woodend since 2014. My passion is cooking and baking, and I love to try out new delicious recipes. I can’t wait to share them all with the Educare Waimak whānau.

Jamie-Lee McIndoe

Kia ora, My name is Jamie and I live with my husband Pete, our two daughters Bailey and Evie and our cat Sooty. I was born and raised in Christchurch and I love the community spirit of North Canterbury. I have worked as a Centre Administrator for over 6 years now and I am currently studying towards my degree in Social Work.
