Our daily programme varies each day depending on the needs of our tamariki. We follow tamariki’s individual routines and change/check nappies as per policy guidelines or when needed. We provide a variety of learning experiences and the resources are changed regularly to follow tamariki’s interests and keep them engaged and challenged. Tamariki have the opportunity to explore these experiences at Exploration time. Our routine is flexible to suit the needs and desires of the tamariki and may include spontaneous whānau time initiated by tamariki or spontaneous walks to explore our backyard. Sunscreen will be applied during term 1 and 4 as per sunscreen policy. Term 2 and 3 winter clothing is essential.

(Relationships, working with others and partnerships), Manaakitanga

(Sharing, kindness, respect and participation) and Pātaitai

(Exploring, curiosity, questioning, and protection), by developing social skills needed to support children in learning through play together.
