Acting Centre Manager
Kia Ora, I'm Dani McCloy. I have worked as a Qualified Teacher with both Secondary and ECE aged children. I studied and graduated from Waikato University with a Bachelor and two Graduate Diplomas.
I enjoy the busy and dynamic industry of ECE, and have a passion for empowering teachers, managers, tamariki and whānau. Outside of work I enjoy yoga, being outdoors, walking, paddle boarding and spending time with my dog(s). Over the past few years I have started to foster dogs and am loving this experience.
Ko Whaea Donna toku ingoa. I teach in the Kindergarten. I have a strong belief that parents are the first teachers and will always work in partnership with whānau. Children learn through play and here within our Kindergarten where we are outside in all weather as papatuanuku and ranginui provide rich hands-on learning all year long. In my spare time I am involved in community work which is mostly food redistribution. I am a mother of two grown children and another who is no longer earthside. I also enjoy gardening-mostly heirloom and vintage varieties. As Dame Whina Cooper said “ Take care of our children, take care of what they hear, take care of what they see, take care of what they feel. For how the children grow, so will be the shape of Aotearoa”.
Kia Ora I’m Prasanthi. I’m a fully qualified teacher and have experience with children of all ages (0-18 years). I’m currently in the preschool room at Pukete Educare. I’m passionate about providing a solid foundation for the children, focusing on behaviours, explaining consequences, Literacy/numeracy and inspire and instil confidence in creativity for tamariki to explore and flourish in the world around them. I look forward to working with your children and being a part of their learning journey.
Kia Ora whānau, my name is Swasthi Prasad. My passion is very much attached to the quality upbringing of the children in their early childhood care and education. I strongly believe that at this level every child needs warmth, love and care to begin the journey of their educational lives. I love to work in partnership with the parents and the community at large.
I am bound to be associated with our organisation which shares the same vision with support of committed professional teachers.
The strength of every education stays with strong bonding of the community, teachers and the management. I thank the almighty for giving me an opportunity to work with such a fantastic team at the Educare Pukete and hence looking forward to getting to know the families and the lively-lovely children here.
